Privacy Policy

Handled is run by Paul Shmelov. This explains what we keep, why, and who else touches it. We don't sell data and we don't show ads.
If you run a business on Handled
- Your account: email, password (stored scrambled, never readable), and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and email from Google.
- What you tell us about your business: name, services, prices, availability, photos.
- Payout details you choose to add, and your Stripe account ID if you connect Stripe.
If you contacted a business through Handled
The business you contacted decides what happens to your details. We keep them on their behalf: what you typed in the chat, your name, email, and phone if you gave them, and the messages, quotes, bookings, and invoices between you. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email. To have your details removed, ask the business or email us.
Who helps us run Handled
- Supabase stores the data.
- Vercel hosts the app.
- Anthropic runs the AI. Chat messages and lead details are sent to it to write replies and summaries. Anthropic doesn't train its models on data sent this way.
- Resend sends and receives email.
- Stripe handles card payments.
- Google handles sign-in, if you choose it.
Cookies
One kind: the cookie that keeps you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Keeping and deleting
We keep data while your account exists. Deleting your account from the Me screen permanently removes it and your clients' records. You can ask for a copy of your data, or for a correction, at any time.
